Our story

Four friends. One sound.

Wildflowers started as a late-night jam in a rented garage outside Memphis. Ten years later, we're still chasing that same feeling.

Where we come from

We met in 2014 — four people from different corners of the South, drawn together by a shared love of music that felt lived-in and real. Not polished. Not perfect. Just honest.

Our first record was recorded in three days on a borrowed four-track. We sold copies out of the back of a van at every show we could book. Something about that rawness stuck — with us, and with the people who heard it.

Over the years we've grown, changed, and found our sound in the space between rock and Americana — music that feels like the last light of a summer evening. Warm, a little worn, and completely alive.

Meet the members

Jesse Calloway

Jesse Calloway

Lead Vocals & Guitar

Jesse grew up in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, surrounded by the sounds that shaped American music. His voice carries that history — weathered, warm, and impossible to ignore.

Marisol Vega

Marisol Vega

Vocals & Keys

Marisol brings the counterpoint — her voice weaves through Jesse's like smoke through sunlight. She writes most of the band's quieter moments, and they're often the ones that hit hardest.

Danny Pruitt

Danny Pruitt

Drums & Percussion

Danny doesn't just keep time — he shapes it. His playing has a looseness that makes every song feel like it's breathing. He's the reason the band swings.

Cal Whitmore

Cal Whitmore

Bass & Pedal Steel

Cal is the anchor. His bass lines are minimal and deep, and when he picks up the pedal steel, the whole room goes still. He's been playing since he was nine years old.
